More than one Quilt Top was finished!

We all had fun laying out the "House Blocks" that have been given to Sue to date! Such a variety of blocks, colors, and styles !  Lots of ideas were soon flying about the room as to how we might sash, and border this quilt!   We have 6 more block to arrive and it appears that we will be ready to assemble this quilt top on our scheduled date!  Sue is the Quilt Mom for this project!

Heidi finished her "Fall Colors Friendship Block Exchange!"  She took all the 6 inch squares that everyone sent along with their blocks and made a great colorful and fun and affective border for her quilt ..... now of to the Quilting Machine !
A very nicely finished Quilt top  Heidi!

Laying out the border rectangles. A really nice feature of the QDO there is lots of room to lay out your quilt on the floor and have a good look at it to facilitate the composition process !

Thank you so much for putting these on the blog!! And for the comments...

I'm sure we all know by now that another family has lost their home to fire here in Houston. I'm proposing that those of us not doing the color wash this sat can come together and put together something quickly for them. CR gave the idea of a raq quilt. Would the credit Union be willing to donate some materials? If we have enough people, we could do a his and hers lap quilts or....Any other ideas!?!?hj
