An other Sign of Fall is the Annual "Kitwanga Quilt In"!

This year Deb, Sharon, and Pamela were able to attend the Kitwanga Quilt In. Pamela and Deb traveled down in Pamela's Motorhome, and Sharon brought her trusty little "Bohler!"
It was great fun to meet up with friends from past Quilt Ins, and meet new people as well. By Friday morning many "Scottie Dog" Children's quilts were put up around the dinning area. These were quilts that were made by individuals who the previous year had taken home the "Scottie Dog" block pattern and then let their imaginations run wild and produced a small quilt.  These quilts were all subsequently donated, and will be going to the Children's Hospital.  Hope you will enjoy looking at a few of them!

Pamela, Deb, and Sharon are all registered to attend next Sept. ..2010! We hope that several more of our ladies will be able to attend. If you would like to please contact Pamela and she will give you the phone no. of the person to call to be put on the list.  The Kitwanga Ladies have changed their format somewhat in the sense that you can reserve your place now!!! You do not have to wait until January. The "First Come First Served" rule still applies however so if you even think you would like to attend....please put your name on the list!

Some were traditional !

Some had lovely bow ties!

Some went this way ... and some went that way!

Some even had a "CAT" watching over them!

Some even wore "coats of cats!!! "

and some just wanted to make "Tracks!"

We are all sure that several  young people will enjoy receiving these "Scottie Quilts!"
