Well it appears that at last summer has arrived in our fair town. And I hope that all of you are enjoying the wonderful sunshine!
Sharing time with your significant others and family members!
I know that I feel that I have had a very exciting and productive and fun filled year both at a personal level and as a member of “The Cutloose Quilters”!
Looking back I see 5 ….yes 5 Community Quilts made! At the last estimated count 8 baby quilts! Not to mention everyone’s own individual quilting projects!
The Quilters Day Outs were enjoyable, productive, and educational, as different members brought to the group their special talent and inspiration and guidance with regards to projects and encouragements!
This little group of Quilting Ladies have worked together and helped to continue building on just what this Community of Houston is truly all about!
I unfortunately was not able to attend the “Wind-Up Barbeque” at Sue’s (I was bobbing up and down on the ocean north of Prince Rupert)
From all accounts everyone who was able to attend had a wonderful time! As I knew you all would!
Our next scheduled coming together of the group will be Saturday, September 27th. at the Library.
At that time I will be passing the “Thimble”... so to speak to a New Group Leader.
I believe that it is important we look to new people to lead us so that we experience new ways, new ideas, and a fresh attitudes.
It is in this way that we can keep our group full of life and energy.
It has been Fun! … Stimulating, and really girls and not all that difficult, so please keep this in mind for September.
I will continue to maintain the Blog page. So please if any of you have photo’s ideas, and/or inspirations, please let me know and I will post it on the blog.
Have a Wonderful Summer Everyone !
Pamela
